Using Power-Ups and Boosters

Power-ups buy you tray space and information. Used at the right moment they clear a level; used early they are wasted.

Match Heist gives you power-ups that change the state of a board mid-level — pulling cars back out of a crowded tray, shuffling what is on the board, or clearing an obstruction. They are earned through play, missions and events, and can also be bought.

When a power-up is worth it

  • The tray is at one free slot and you can see the third car of a set you already hold.
  • A single blocked car is the only thing standing between you and clearing the board.
  • An event run is on the line and restarting would cost you the streak.

When to save it

  • Early in a level — restarting costs nothing, so a fresh attempt is cheaper than a power-up.
  • When the board is still wide open and you simply have not found the colour to commit to.
  • When you are already going to lose the board. Spend to win a level, not to delay one.
NotePower-ups are earned by playing — completing missions, finishing events and clearing levels all award them. Nothing in Match Heist requires a purchase to progress.
