Free Car Puzzle Games Online: Play in Your Browser, No Download

Car puzzles you can play in a browser tab right now: six free ones from us, three from Poki and CrazyGames, what each one is like on a phone, and one catch apiece.

You can play free car puzzle games online right now, in a browser tab, with no download and no account. On this site we make six: Car Sort (one tap sends a run of cars round a ring road to park themselves), Car Match (drive cars out of a yard and clear them three of a colour), Car Parking (a Rush Hour-style escape), Getaway Garage, Magic Sort and Travel Tiles. Elsewhere, Poki hosts Car Parking Jam by Refold, and CrazyGames hosts Famobi’s Parking Jam and Synk’s Sort Parking. All of them run on a phone or a computer. Match Heist itself is a phone app, not a browser game; the details and the catches are below.

NoteDisclosure: we are Brightpoint Studios. We make Match Heist and the six browser games on this site, so six of the nine picks are ours, which is a lot, and we know it. Facts about our games come from their code. Facts about the other three come from their own Poki and CrazyGames listings, checked on 22 October 2026. Portal games get updated without notice, so treat the listing as the last word.

How we chose

  • It runs in the browser. No app store, no installer, no “download our launcher to continue”. Open the page and the puzzle is there.
  • A car puzzle, not a driving game. Sorting, matching and unblocking. Games where the challenge is steering round cones are a different genre with a different page.
  • An established home. Either our own site or a portal with a named developer on the listing. Search “car sort online” and you will find plenty of one-game domains with no visible owner. We left those out.
  • Free to play. Nothing here asks for money to start a level.
  • One limitation each, including all six of ours.

The picks

Car Sort, for anyone who typed “car sort online”

Ours. Car Sort gives you exactly one move: tap a bay. The car at its mouth pulls out onto a closed loop road, along with every car of the same colour directly behind it, and they drive round looking for a bay whose front car matches. Four of a colour lock a bay shut. The road holds a fixed number of cars, and if it fills with nowhere to park, that is Gridlock. There are 240 graded levels, from three colours up to twelve, then fresh solver-checked levels for as long as you keep tapping. Undo is unlimited, and you get three hints and two spare bays per level.

The limitation: you never choose where a car parks. If that sounds restful, good. If it sounds like being driven by someone who will not take directions, Magic Sort hands you the wheel.

Car Match, the Match Heist mechanic without the app

Also ours, and the closest thing to Match Heist you can play in a browser. Car Match is a yard of cars on a grid. Tap one with a clear road to an exit and it drives out into a seven-slot car park, where three of the same colour clear. Fill all seven slots without a three and the lot is jammed. Later levels hide cars inside boxes and crates that open when a neighbour drives off, and in tunnels that feed out one car at a time. There are 483 levels, graded Easy to Super Hard, with no lives, no timer and nothing to buy.

The limitation: there is no hint button. Undo and Restart are all the help you get, so a Super Hard level is between you and the yard. It also loads its levels in batches of 50, which makes it the fussiest of ours about a patchy connection.

Car Parking, the Rush Hour puzzle in a tab

Car Parking is ours too: a 6×6 deck, cars two cells long, vans three, every vehicle locked to its lane. Drag the blockers aside and drive the gold car out of the gate on the right. On a keyboard you can tap a vehicle and push it with the arrow keys instead. There are 240 graded levels from a two-move warm-up to jams of fourteen vehicles, then endless decks at full difficulty. Each level’s par is the shortest solution our solver found, which is either motivating or rude depending on the day.

The limitation: the cast never changes. Cars and vans on a 6×6 deck are the whole game from level 1 to level 1,000, so if you want new obstacles as you go, Famobi’s Parking Jam adds barriers and Car Parking Jam adds police.

Getaway Garage, the one that moves everything at once

Ours. In Getaway Garage a swipe moves every vehicle in the garage the same way until each hits something. Line up three identical vehicles and they drive off, leaving the gaps where they stood. Swipe on a touchscreen, or use the arrow keys, WASD or the on-screen pad. Each level has a tight move limit, and every one has been checked solvable within it.

The limitation: there are 20 levels. A keen player will see the end in an evening.

Magic Sort, Car Sort with the steering handed back

Ours. Magic Sort has the classic ball-sort rules with cars in place of balls. Tap a bay to lift its front run, tap another to park it on an empty bay or a matching colour, and four of a colour lock a bay. Covered cars arrive from level 11. 240 graded levels from three colours to ten, then endless; unlimited undo, three hints and two spare bays a level. Every colour also wears its own roof shape, so it works if you are colour blind.

The limitation: if you have played Ball Sort Puzzle or Water Sort, you already know this game. The cars are new; the rules are not.

Travel Tiles, for when you meant “free match games”

Ours, and the one without cars. Travel Tiles is a triple tile match: 96 souvenir tiles in layers, a six-slot tray, and three of a kind clear. There is no timer and no move limit, with Undo and Shuffle for when the tray gets crowded.

The limitation: there are no levels to climb and nothing saves. Each game is a fresh deal of the same board, which suits a coffee break and frustrates a completionist.

Car Parking Jam on Poki, the closest thing to Parking Jam 3D in a browser

Refold, on Poki. Its listing describes “a puzzle game about clearing a crowded lot”: you drag cars forward or backward to make an escape route, avoid crashes, and avoid the police. Poki lists it for desktop, phone and tablet. If the phone game on your mind is Parking Jam 3D, where each car can only go forwards or backwards out of the lot, this is closer to it than anything we make.

The limitation: the Poki page runs ads around the game, and the listing gives no level count, so you cannot tell how deep it goes before you start.

Parking Jam on CrazyGames, with a move limit

Famobi, on CrazyGames. An HTML5 puzzle where you “untangle a crowded parking lot one car at a time”, dragging cars out onto the street. Cars can reverse, later levels add road barriers and tighter spaces, and the listing says it runs in desktop, tablet and mobile browsers. Despite the name, it is not Popcore’s Parking Jam 3D app; this corner of the genre recycles names like a car park recycles receipts.

The limitation: “Each puzzle comes with a limited number of moves”, says the listing. If you like to fiddle your way to a solution, the move counter will be watching.

Sort Parking on CrazyGames, the other car sort

Synk, on CrazyGames. Park cars so that every row holds one colour. A car cannot go in front of a different colour, and a full single-colour row locks in. That makes it a sorting puzzle in the same family as our Car Sort and Magic Sort, with its own rules about rows. The listing says it runs in desktop, mobile and tablet browsers.

The limitation: it has in-game coins and unlockable car models and backgrounds. Nothing on the listing says you must spend them, but a coin economy is one more thing on the screen than the puzzle needs.

Where Match Heist fits

Match Heist is the game this site is named after, and it is a free app for iOS and Android, not a browser game. You tap cars off a crowded 3D board into a seven-slot tray and clear them three of a colour, while Vera Voss plans the job, Ethan Rowe drives and Sir Wagsworth supervises from a safe distance. If you want that in a browser, Car Match is the same core rule on a flat grid. The limitation: it is a download, which is the one thing this page promised to avoid.

What “no download” does not cover

Browser games skip the install, but they still need the internet to load. None of ours installs for offline use, and a reload needs a connection. Our sorting and parking games build their levels on your device, so they carry on in an open tab if the signal drops; we went through exactly how each behaves in Best Offline Car Puzzle Games.

Progress is the other catch. Ours saves in the browser you play in, with no account, so clearing your browser data or switching from your phone to your laptop starts you again at level 1. That is the price of not asking for your email address, and we think it is a fair one.

Why some browser car games are missing

Rush Hour, the ThinkFun board game every unblock puzzle descends from, has no official free browser version we could find, only the box. Unblock Me is an app. CrazyGames also hosts a Car OUT! Jam Parking Puzzle that shares a name with Tripledot’s Car Out! app, and we could not confirm whether the two are related, so it stays off. As for the one-page sites that rank for “car sort online”, they have no named owner, and if we cannot tell you who made a game, we will not send you to it.

Picking one

  • You searched “car sort online”: Car Sort for one-tap sorting, Magic Sort if you want to choose the bay, Sort Parking on CrazyGames for rows instead of bays.
  • You want the Match Heist feel without installing anything: Car Match.
  • You want the classic slide-the-red-car puzzle: Car Parking.
  • You miss Parking Jam 3D: Car Parking Jam on Poki, or Famobi’s Parking Jam if you like a move limit.
  • You want something short and odd: Getaway Garage, all 20 levels of it.
  • You wanted a match game and cars were optional: Travel Tiles.

The quick rule: if you want to choose every move, pick an unblock or sort game where you steer; if you want the board to do some of the driving, pick Car Sort or Car Match. Either way, nothing here needs more than a tab.

Frequently asked questions

What car puzzle games can I play online for free?

On matchheist.com: Car Sort, Car Match, Car Parking, Getaway Garage and Magic Sort, plus Travel Tiles if you want tiles instead of cars. All are free, need no download and no sign-up, and run on phones and computers. Elsewhere, Poki hosts Car Parking Jam by Refold, and CrazyGames hosts Parking Jam by Famobi and Sort Parking by Synk.

Can I play Car Sort online?

Yes. Car Sort on matchheist.com runs in your browser with no download and no account. Tap a bay and its front run of same-colour cars drives round a loop road and parks itself. It has 240 graded levels and then keeps generating new ones. It is not the same game as Rollic’s Car Sort: Color Puzzle app, which shares the name.

Is there a free car match game with no download?

Yes. Car Match on matchheist.com is free in the browser: tap cars with a clear road out of the yard, and three of the same colour in the seven-slot car park clear. It has 483 levels, no lives, no timer and nothing to buy.

Do I need to sign up to play these games?

Not for ours. Progress saves in your browser instead of an account, so it stays on that device and in that browser. The Poki and CrazyGames listings for the other three picks do not mention needing to sign in.

Can I play Match Heist in a browser?

No. Match Heist is a free app for iOS and Android. Car Match on matchheist.com is the browser game built on the same rule: tap cars into a seven-slot lot and clear three of a colour.

Do free online car puzzle games work on a phone?

All nine picks here do. Our games size themselves to the screen and take taps, swipes or drags, and Poki and CrazyGames list their three picks for phones and tablets as well as desktops.

Do browser car games work offline?

They need a connection to load. After that, our Car Parking, Car Sort, Magic Sort and Getaway Garage keep playing in an open tab if the connection drops, and Car Match can finish the batch of 50 levels it has loaded. Reloading the page needs a connection again.
