Help With the Free Browser Games

Five free puzzles run right here in your browser. Here is how progress is stored and what to do if a game will not start.

Alongside the mobile app, matchheist.com hosts five free browser puzzles. They need no download and no sign-up — open the page and play.

The games

  • Car Match — drive cars out of the yard and park three of a colour together. 483 levels.
  • Car Sort — one ring road, one tap: the cars drive themselves into the right bay. 240 levels.
  • Magic Sort — shuffle cars between bays until each holds four of one colour. 240 levels.
  • Travel Tiles — tap souvenirs into your tray and match three of a kind.
  • Getaway Garage — one swipe slides every vehicle at once; line up three and they drive off.

Where does my browser progress go?

Browser progress is stored locally in your own browser, on the device you played on. It is not linked to a Match Heist account, so it does not carry over to the mobile app or to another device — and clearing your browsing data or playing in a private window will reset it.

If a game will not start

  • Reload the page — a partly loaded script is the most common cause.
  • Make sure JavaScript is enabled and no extension is blocking scripts on the page.
  • Try another browser. The games target current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
  • On mobile, close other tabs; a busy browser can starve the game of memory.
TipThe browser games are a taste of the mechanic. The full experience — missions, events, mini games and the heist crew — is in the Match Heist app on iOS and Android.

Frequently asked questions

Does browser progress transfer to the app?

Are the browser games free?

Yes — completely free, with no download and no sign-up.
