Ads and Rewarded Videos
Rewarded videos are optional and always your choice. Here is what to do when one does not pay out or will not close.
Match Heist is free to play, and advertising is part of what keeps it that way. Rewarded videos are always opt-in — you watch one because you chose to claim the reward attached to it.
A rewarded video did not pay out
Watch to the very end
The reward is granted when the ad network confirms a completed view. Closing an ad even a second early cancels it.
Check your connection
The confirmation needs to reach us. A dropout mid-ad can lose the reward.
Reopen the game
Some rewards are delivered on the next sync rather than instantly.
An ad will not load or will not close
- Force close the app and reopen it — a stuck ad frame does not survive a restart.
- Turn off any VPN or ad-blocking DNS, which can leave an ad half-loaded with no close button.
- Make sure the app is up to date; ad SDK fixes ship with app updates.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to watch ads to progress?
No. Rewarded videos are optional bonuses. Levels are designed to be cleared without watching anything.
